The Ugly Truth Attended the Pink Dot 2013 at Hong Lim Park on the 29th June 2013. This event is held annually since 2009 for the lesbian, gay, bisexual & transexual movement. The numbers attending the event has grown tremendously since it started in 2009 with just a mere 4,000 strong and for this year, it has grown to a staggering 21,000.
Although 21,000 attendees seem huge for this cause, the ugly truth it is just 0.4% of the Singapore's population. This proves that this community is just a very tiny minority in Singapore and this issue is still a controversial subject.
